Synopsis
Electric Herring was performed at the Arena Nightclub, situated in Fortitude
Valley, the live music district of Brisbane. The piece was inspired by the
music of local band 'Squelch' who accompanied the performance live on stage.

‘Squelch could have overpowered their collaborator if not for the electrifying talent of O’Neill. Her work again defies description, although influences are discernible from classical and contemporary dance and particularly the Suzuki style of movement theatre. What she does with this miscellany of movement styles, however, is entirely her own.’
